Dear Charles,

On behalf of the Global Entrepreneurship Week/USA planning team, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your participation in the Week. So many people contributed so much to this initiative, but the tremendous level of success we achieved would not have been possible without the support of CCA International.

Over the past two years, thousands of activities have inspired young Americans to explore their entrepreneurial potential --- acting on their ideas and turning them into reality. These activities have also provided them with invaluable connections -- to mentors, to investors and to other sources of information and support.

In November, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger launched the Week in Los Angeles with Kauffman Foundation President and CEO Carl Schramm. Serial entrepreneur Russell Simmons hosted the Race to BE, a competition to find the next great entrepreneurs in film, music and fashion. Linda McMahon of World Wrestling Entertainment and Peter Thum of Ethos Water connected with aspiring entrepreneurs through Mentoring Madness, hosted by NYSE Euronext. Hip-hop legends Chuck D and P. Miller (formerly Master P) headlined the Hip-Hop & Entrepreneurship town hall in Kansas City. These were just a few of the highlights, but it was the activities and events organized by partners like you, that really took this to scale and helped to reach millions --- on line and face-to-face.

Our Week in 2007 inspired dozens of other countries to join a global movement to promote innovation, imagination and creativity. This past year, 76 other countries around the world hosted more than 15,000 activities and engaged approximately 5 million participants. This movement will continue, from November 16-22, 2009 as we continue to unleash the ideas of bright young minds from all walks of life.
